Numbers 1 to 69 of the Peruvian Journal of International Law have been recognized as Cultural Heritage of the Nation by Vice-Ministerial Resolution No. 152-2020-VMPCIC/ MC of September 21, 2020.

Two documentary units related to the Peruvian Society of International Law have been declared Cultural Heritage of the Nation by Vice-Ministerial Resolution No. 233-2019-VMPCIC-MC of December 12, 2019:

1) Supreme Decree No. 443 dated June 18, 1941, which authorizes the Peruvian Society of International Law to edit the Peruvian Journal of International Law; and,

2) Supreme Resolution No. 647 dated November 14, 1979, which officially recognizes the Peruvian Society of International Law.

In that sense, and given its antiquity, its pages contain academic works written by historical figures of Peruvian diplomacy and international law (such as Alberto Ulloa Sotomayor, Raúl Porras Barrenechea, José Luis Bustamante y Rivero, Víctor Andres Belaúnde, Carlos García Bedoya, Manuel Félix Maúrtua, among others). Likewise, there is the reproduction of emblematic documents, speeches and pronouncements at international summits and meetings, which serve as a primary source for research. In this way, the Peruvian Society of International Law specifies one of the objectives of its statutes consisting of the promotion and dissemination of the study of international law.
